Message Over time, the stock mounts can get ripped during engine pulls and come apart (the bottome half usually gets stuck to the crossmember). I've seen this happen to mine, ZEngineers, Guapos and I'm sure it's happened to others.

If you look at the Noltecs, they have metal at both ends and the urethane sandwiched in between, which means it couldn't possibly fail in the same way (or in any way imo).

As far as solid mounts, I'd have to agree with Kyle to stay away from those. Rubber or Urethane will absorb a fair portion of vibration and shock from the road conditions, but with a solid mount, it all gets absorbed by the engine (no buffering). I don't see then how a solid mount is a good thing.

I'm not expert, this is just my opinion.
